Isn’t it interesting when people approach your desk or call your business (or personal) line and just start immediately ranting about something that they need.
I am not too sure if it is “interesting” or “appauling” actually. It seems only common and the right thing to do to actually greet someone with a simple, “Hello, how are you?” before you proceed with whatever it is that you need.
Make no mistake. A simple greeting goes a long way. Before you just proceed into asking for things that you need, stop and properly greet people.
